Host a Food Drive.
There are many ways we obtain food, but one important way is through food drives. Resources Vail Food Bank relies on groups, businesses, faith communities, special events and community friends to help us collect food items year-round for distribution to hungry and struggling households throughout the community.
ReSources makes it convenient for your group or organization to host a food drive any time of year. Contact us and we can provide some helpful tips, fliers with a list of regular food needs, and bins or boxes to collect the food. Thanks to our donated van, we may be able to schedule a pick up for your food donations, if necessary. Hosting a food drive in the spring and summer is just as important to us as collecting food during the holidays as donations usually dip during the warmer months.
Please contact us to schedule your food drive at a time that will benefit our food bank as well as your organization.
